We have a range of affordable and comprehensive guardianship packages available for new students attending boarding school this year.
This week we have been conducting personalised online induction meetings with each child and their family before they arrive in the UK. Each family has been incredibly grateful for the extra time and support our team have given them to help with their questions and queries. Many parents were still unsure about quarantine and testing requirements and felt reassured by the information we gave to them. Parents thanked us for our simple explanations of the complex travel processes and procedures - many of the meetings were conducted in English and our talented team were also able to speak with parents in Mandarin, Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese!

Pre-sessional courses
Our pre-sessional English Language courses are underway for students starting school in September.
LLE’s individualised and tailor-made pre-sessional courses are a fantastic way for individual students to improve their speaking and writing skills before they embark on their academic journey at a new school, college or university.
Our students have had great success with our English language courses and can offer academic subject tuition and CLIL in addition to English – you can take a comprehensive, bespoke course tailored to your needs to ensure you are ‘boarding school ready’!
A boarding school's international pupils can study with us prior to attending school on a Visitor Visa for up to six months, as we are an accredited English Language provider (for further details please see www.englishuk.com/uk-student-visas). Alternatively, we can set up a partnership agreement so that you can offer one CAS to include our home tuition as pre-sessional courses for your school. Should you be interested in this, please get in contact.
As all LLE courses are personalised by each student’s teacher based on their individual needs, we are able to offer pre-sessional courses at any point in the academic year.
Online lessons
We are continuing to offer international students with online provision and further academic support during the school holidays. We can also offer online provision for those students whose Visa has been delayed. If you feel that your students could benefit from some extra structured English language tuition before they arrive in the UK, then we would be more than happy to assist. Safeguarding Update
We have recently received a concerning report from one of our teachers of an approved test provider on the government website requesting that a child upload a video of themselves taking their PCR test. The child was requested to send the video to the test provider on WhatsApp or to upload the video to their website. The child did not send the video; however, this was raised as a serious safeguarding concern by LLE and was investigated by UKAS. UKAS confirmed with our Designated Safeguarding Lead that it is not a requirement from UKAS that test providers request videos of children taking the PCR test.
