Every LLE course is built around you.

We don't offer fixed programmes with set timetables and standardised materials – we offer one-to-one tuition designed around your goals, your level and your interests, with a teacher who is matched to you personally.

Whether you're looking to improve your everyday English, prepare for school or university in the UK, develop your professional communication or simply make the most of a stay in Britain, we can create a course that fits.

All our courses are available as homestay – living and learning in your teacher's home – or online, with the same personalised approach and the same quality of teaching. Courses run year-round, including at Christmas and Easter.

For adults

General English

Build confidence and fluency across all areas of English – speaking, listening, reading and writing. Tailored entirely to your level, your goals and the way you learn best.

Business English

Develop the professional English you need for meetings, presentations, correspondence and workplace communication. Courses are designed around your role and your real working needs.

English Plus

Combine English lessons with a personal interest or hobby – from guided sightseeing and cookery to art, walking and Jane Austen's England. Every course is individually designed around you.

English for Teachers

A specialist course for qualified teachers of English who want to develop their own language skills, refresh their teaching practice or experience English in an immersive setting.

Crash Courses

A full week's tuition compressed into four intensive days. Available as General English or Business English, homestay or online.

For young learners & families

Young Learners

One-to-one English tuition for younger students, living with a carefully matched teacher and their family. Courses are tailored to each student's level, goals and interests, with a full programme of activities and excursions included.

Parent & Child

A course designed for a parent and child to experience together – whether learning side by side or separately, with tuition tailored to each of you. Ideal for families who want to combine English with an authentic stay in Britain. Also a great option for parents who need to work remotely during the stay – your child learns while you work, all under the same roof.

Summer International Matching 2:1

Our summer matching programme pairs your child with a student of a different nationality and a similar age and level, for a shared course with a homestay teacher. A fantastic way to make progress in English and make a new friend at the same time.

Seasonal courses

We run special courses at Christmas and Easter, combining English tuition with the experience of a traditional British celebration in your teacher's home.
